EOS

The final major project done while I studying at my university, Eos is a narrative puzzle game developed in 6 months entirely on a custom engine.

 

On Eos, I worked as a game designer, writer, audio designer, composer and producer. My responsibilities were:

  • Worked with the lead designer in coming up with the core mechanic of the game

  • Scripted in C++ in a custom engine developed by our programmers

  • Helped design and plan a sub-mechanic as well as all three levels

  • Composed five music tracks and more than fifty sound effects, including editing, balancing and implementation

  • Coordinated with the artists, programmers and designers to ensure a single vision was delivered and on time

  • Wrote the main story

  • Directed, recorded and implemented the voice lines heard throughout the game

  • And so much more!

After Eos release, it was received with widespread praise from lecturers and students alike. At the annual Digipen Game Awards, Eos accomplished the following:

  • Won Best Audio

  • Nominated for Best Senior Game

  • Won Digipen Game of the Year
